Ubuntu 9.10 is released

The new version of Ubuntu 9.10 called "Karmic". The developers have come up with a few ideas and bring many new features.

Kernel 2.6.31 is now and for the first time the ext4 file system as standard. Also, it was uncertain, and in part led to data loss, this seems fixed now.

Further, the X-Server in version 1.7, Gnome 2.28.1 and OpenOffice in the current version 3.1 is used.
